SpectraSoft Appointment Scheduler Integrates With Automatic Voice Messaging Service

SpectraSoft Inc., national provider of appointment scheduling software to the healthcare industry, has announced the integration of a web-enabled voice messaging service with their leading product -- AppointmentsPRO™.

Offices using AppointmentsPRO for patient or client scheduling can now generate professional appointment reminders through the Internet application service provider CallPointe.com (CallPointe). Once activated by a security code, AppointmentsPRO extracts the user's appointment data, encrypt it, and sends it through a secure Internet connection to CallPointe. There, a multi-line telephone system receives the data and generates appointment reminders automatically.

"Out-sourced calling is an efficient way to use resources," said CallPointe President and CEO James R Peterson. "Customers define the calling window (days in advance, what time of day to call), and customize the message (or messages) to their own business. CallPointe allows the medical office staff to concentrate on other priorities," he said.

CallPointe.com is currently serving over 400 customers nationwide. The company publishes statistics that show reminder calls reduce missed appointments and lost revenue by an average of 30%. CallPointe successfully delivers messages to 99% of patients scheduled.
