SpectraSoft Inc. Releases AppointmentsPRO™ Version 7.0

New appointment scheduler improves office efficiency In complex medical service environments. SpectraSoft Inc. has announced the release of AppointmentsPRO 7.0, a Windows-based appointment scheduler designed for ultimate appointment flexibility and control.

The new product is based on the company's popular Appointments product currently installed in more than 3,000 clinics and over 350 hospitals nationwide. Designed specifically for a complex medical environment, version 7.0 now enables the user to define any number of resource types. Users can manage an unlimited number of resources and resource types, and a different standard appointment interval can be assigned to each one.

The scheduling of recurring appointments has become lightening fast. Screen enhancements also make scheduling easier by directly displaying more of the appointment detail, including co-pay, authorized visits, diagnosis, and referring physician. Appointment status is indicated in the appointment cell, and a message screen that appears with the mouse-over gives users a view of additional appointment notes and client details.

Other enhancements include a larger library of automatic reports, greater discretion for user access and security, enhanced data import, greater export and integration features, and advanced archiving. A new data engine also allows the system to be customized for use by any number of schedulers working concurrently.
